1. What kind of ceremonies do you offer?

I offer ceremonies for all aspects of love and life including; weddings, elopements, vow renewals.

2. What about same-sex weddings?

I believe in absolute equality.  I will marry any couple in love.

3. Does my wedding officiant assist me through the wedding process?

As a wedding officiant, our job is to marry you. However,  for those who need extra assistance, I provide guidance through the marriage license process. 

​

4. How much do you charge?

My Officiant and Celebrant pricing varies depending on what type of ceremony you would like and the location of the ceremony.  Prices start from $225 depending on your need. Some Days we offer special prices so please get in touch with me for a quote.

5. What is the booking process?

Email me via the contact page to check my availability and ask any questions you may have. Following this, if you would like to confirm my services I will send you a non-refundable booking invoice for 50% of my service fee. The balance is then due 1 calendar week before your ceremony. If you are booking my services less than one week before your ceremony the full amount is due at the time of booking.  If you are doing a simple marriage license signing you have the option to pay the day of, unless you want to book the appointment 1 week or more in advance. In those cases, you must reserve your appointment with a booking fee.

6. What is your refund policy?

In accepting your initial retainer, I guarantee that I will be available at the desired date and time to perform your wedding. The only way I can do this is to turn away other couples inquiring about your date. For this reason, should you decide to cancel the services for any reason, your initial retainer will not be refunded.

7. What happens if we need to reschedule?

As long as I am available to perform your wedding, I'm happy to make the change at no additional cost. However, if you elect to reschedule and nI am unavailable on the new date, then our obligation to you will end. Any money you’ve already paid (excluding your initial retainer) may be refunded at my discretion, and I'll do my best to help you find another Officiant.

8. What if we need to rehearse on a separate day?

If you decide to rehearse on a separate day and would like one of us to attend, there’s an additional charge for time and travel to the location. For most locations, the cost is $75.00. For other locations, the amount depends on time and distance. I am always happy to conduct your rehearsal from start to finish, should you request it. As a cost-free alternative, we offer a helpful “D.I.Y.” guide to conducting your own rehearsal, which steps you through the entire process in a clear, organized manner. Many of our couples have used this method with great success over the years.

9. Do you require a contract?

You will be asked to approve and sign a standard contract form that confirms the booking details and provides all pertinent information regarding the event. This protects everyone involved and precludes future misunderstandings.

10. Is it customary to tip the Officiant?

Gratuities are not expected, but always appreciated!

11. Do you normally stay for the reception?

I never assume I'm invited to post-wedding activities (like dinner), but in most cases, I'm honored to stay, if asked (assuming I don’t have another engagement scheduled after yours).

12. How long does the “typical” wedding ceremony last?

Most non-denominational weddings last from 15-20 minutes, including the walk-in and walk-out, but of course, the exact length really depends on the degree to which you “customize” your ceremony, since all ceremony content is up to you.

13. I want to take my husband’s last name after we’re married. Can you help?

After the wedding, I will provide you with / send you detailed information about the process required to officially change your name.

14. What do you wear when you officiate a wedding?

My dress for the ceremony is always appropriate to the formality of the occasion, and I always confirm our attire with the couple prior to arriving at the venue. I will wear religious robes or vestments upon request.

15. Will we always be able to contact you if we have additional questions or need more information?

Absolutely! My fee includes unlimited phone and e-mail support, I don't usually go to bed early!
